8.30am - Fog.
It was off to Hydra River Guides Base camp which is about 20km north of Golden.
We did the Orange and Blue sections which is about 18km and takes about 2 hrs. Vern was our river guide, he has been doing it for about 20 years, he was very good and gave us a lot of information along the way. We started off in smooth water and he went over all the safety information again, what to do if you fall out, if the raft tips and then he explained how to row correctly using you whole body not just your arms.
Lunch was included in the day, after a safety briefing it was suit up time and time to have fun.
Today was a real buzz, it's off to Jasper tomorrow.
