Sunday 18th

Today we went exploring around Banff, the morning started out a bit overcast but fined up as the day progressed.

First off we headed out towards Bow Falls near the Fairmont Chateau Banff, this Chateau is mor impressive than the one at Lake Louise ( In our opinion).

Aerial view from the summit of Sulphur Mountain, with Bow Falls in the background.

It was then off the the Banff Gondola, it rises 2452m to Sulphur Mountain, the view if great, they have just spent $26m CAD on extensions to the building which now has 4 levels and an open area that gives 360 degree views.

Aerial view of Banff.

Mountain goats.

We then drove to the Norquay Skifields, they are small, you can understand why Whistler is so popular when you compare them all.

We then finished the day with a drive to Lake Minnewanka.
