Today was a very hot day in Victoria it hit 28 degrees, unusual as we have been told. We headed over the other side of the harbour to find a local supermarket as we had to try and buy some Peach crystals for Trish, it was interesting to walk through a local suburban neighbourhood. The price of things in the supermarket where the same or cheaper than Australia. The price of petrol (Gas) was similar when ours is on special 112c per litre.
On the way back we saw a Racoon on the local wharf.
We have noticed on a couple of occasions that you can buy medicinal cannabis in designated shops.
This afternoon we headed out to Butchart Gardens. Butchart Gardens covers more than 22 ha of a 53 ha property. It began from an idea that Jennie Butchart had to beautify the worked-out limestone quarry which had supplied her husband Robert Butchart's Portland cement plant.
The gardens through the skilful mixture of rare and exotic shrubs, trees and flowers, often collected by the Butchants during their extensive oversea's travels, continually expanding over the years to become the world famous Sunken, Japanese, Rose, Italian and Mediterranean garden you see today.
It was off to the Spagetti Factory for tea and walked around the harbour to get home.
