Sunday 28th

Well it's Sunday 28th here and Monday 29th in Australia so I am going to have a 2 day birthday celebration. We decided on a semi rest day today so it was a late breakfast and then we caught the shuttle into Talkeetna where we met Brenda and Margaret from Southern California. We had a nice easy lunch at the Twisted Creek Resturant which is owned by the Denali Brewing Company.

Talkeetna is certainly a different kind of town, very American back country.

I have had a great day, with lunch in Talkeetna, and then dinner with a couple from Pensylvania. Our tour leader is mixing up who you have dinner with. We also met up with Bill and Vicki from Fort Smith, Arkansas for afternoon drinks. The weather is unreal at 8.pm tonight it was still 20 degrees and it is not dark until at least 10pm.

The view of Mt Denali this morning was spectacular as it was soo clear.
