Friday 19th

A bit of culture to start the day with a visit to the Vancouver Museum and Parliment House, the museum had two exhibitions, one on mammoths and the other on the natural history of British Columbia,  both where interesting exhibitions.

It was then a casual walk around the waterfront to Fishermans Wharf where we had lunch, it was different to what we expected, it was all on floating pontoons, with food outlets and colourful houseboats.

While we where there there were two friendly seals swimming around.

The trip back was on one of the tiny water taxi, it is a busy harbour it he water taxi, sea planes and whale watching boats.

Victoria is a beautiful city, everyone is so friendly, it was very hot again today at 32 degrees. Tomorrow is the next phase of the trip when we commence our Alaskan Criuse aboard the Coral Princess, it is off to the bus at 7.30am which takes us to Swartz Bay and then a BC Ferry to Canada Place Vancouver where we join the ship.
