Friday 30th

UBucket list day, today we visited Walt Disneyworld in Orlando, after a bit of drama getting the shuttle from the resort we eventually arrived at Epcot, this is just one of the Disney attractions, our intention was to visit the Magic Kingdom as it had the most relevance to both of us growing up watching Disney on TV. We took two monorails to get there, they have really worked on moving a lot of people in a short time. They have buses and monorails that also go to all the resorts that are in close proximity.

Disneyworld covers more than 27000 acres and comprises, Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, Disney Studios, ESPN Wide Worls of Sports, also Sea World and Universal Studios. I would estimate that there are over 20 Disney Resorts that you can stay at close to any of the theme parks.

Not long after arriving there was the Move It! Shake It! Dance & Play It! Street Parade.

It was then time to explore the theme park, with such favourites as Main Street USA, Adventureland, Frontierland, Fantasyland , Liberty Square and Tomorrowland.

Chris insisted we ride on Dumbo.

The Log ride, the queue wait time was 60 minutes so we gave it a miss.

Tom Sayer Island was a shorter queue.

The big kid also wanted to ride in one of Alice's tea cups.

In the afternoon was the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade with all the favourite characters of our childhood.

It was then off to do and see more big kids stuff.

Max the reindeer.

We also did a boat trip through its A Small Small World.

Their interpretation of Australia.

Goofy and Donald.

It was time to head to our shuttle pickup point, so we took the riverboat.

The night finished with a firework display.

Well 8.15 came and went and no sign of the shuttle that was supposed to pick us up and take us back to our resort and to make matters worse I didn't take my phone with me. Finally one turned up at 8.45 at another pickup point to pickup some other people and he kindly agreed to take us, as it worked out he went a long way out of his way to get us to our resort. Just another little thing that this resort could improve on.
